Custom Fitting Instructions

SnoreRx’s unique design allows the user to create a custom impression of the teeth for a more comfortable fit.

This video will provide step-by-step instructions on how to mold the device. Before proceeding, please watch the entire video once to familiarize yourself with the fitting procedure.

Your SnoreRx includes a fitting handle, which is already affixed to the device. Ensure the device is properly secured to the handle.

You will need a microwave, a mug, a timer, and a bowl.

To begin, use the microwave to bring a cup of water to a full boil. Avoid using a pot and stove.

Hold the end of the fitting handle and submerge SnoreRx into the mug of boiled water for PRECISELY 60 SECONDS. This is the most critical step, as this will soften the material at the optimal point for the custom impression. If you hold SnoreRx in the water any longer than 60 seconds, you may damage your device.

After 60 seconds, use the fitting handle to remove SnoreRx from the mug of boiled water. Immediately dip the device into a bowl of tap water for two seconds to remove any hot water.

And don’t worry: SnoreRx does not retain heat and will not burn your mouth.

Now it is time to create the custom impression. Make sure the device is right side up. The top of SnoreRx is indicated by the word ‘SQUEEZE’ on both sides of the device.

Center your teeth into both the top and bottom grooves of the device and bite down firmly for 30 SECONDS to create your custom impression.

After taking the impression, remove SnoreRx from your mouth and place it in the bowl of cool water for 5 minutes. This will set the impression.

Inspect your device. Your SnoreRx should have well-defined tooth marks. If it does not, you can re-do the boil and bit process again one more time.

To separate SnoreRx from the fitting tray, push the handle off.

You can now begin wearing the device. We recommend that you wear SnoreRx at the one millimeter setting your first night. Every one or two nights you can adjust the setting by one millimeter until snoring is significantly reduced. Most can be treated with a setting of three to five millimeters.
